After the recent success of the LRAHC sponsored Queer Doc film festival, LRAHC is happy to support the Queer Screen, Queer Pet Project.

Now is your chance to unleash your creativity and make a short film about your furry friend. Perhaps your pet has some special talents, has a unique journey or story to tell, or is just simply ridiculously good looking.

Finalists will have their movie screened at the Mardis Gras Film Festival and will be in the running for $500 and pet supplies.

Filming can be done with any technology, including an iphone or can be as simple as a photo slideshow. There is no need for expensive equipment. All films should be less than 10mins.

For further information and an entry form, please go to: http://www.queerscreen.com.au/page/queer-pet-project.

To show us all how easy it is, our own Dr. Amanda Cole has made her own short film, featured above.
